On Jan 11th we were defeated by Domenico's Deli 26-43.
On Jan 18th we had a bye. Had to lick those wounds
On Jan 25th we were once again defeated by KF.
On Feb 1st our game against The Golden State Warriors was canceled due to several premonitions that no one would attend due to the fact it was Super Bowl Sunday!
On Feb 8th we lost a close one to the Butter Ballers 35-40. We actually led a good part of the game only to fall short in the last 2 minutes with a few fundamental mistakes and some bad calls from the refs.
On Feb 15th we were defeated by the Oakland Guys 29-34. The Rail Riders were able to roar back from an 11-point deficit to get within 3 but didn't have quite enough cohesion to put it away at the end. Still, not at all bad for a group of dedicated brothas who still have yet to hold a single practice. Conflicting schedules are killin' us!
On Feb 22nd we suffered our roughest defeat ever to none other than the Raiders. We almost had to forfeit from the beginning due to the small roster available to play. Ed Hearvey who was on injured reserve and had just come to show his support for the team suited up so the game could happen. That's heart!
On March 1st we lost to the Butter Ballers once again. We started off strong in the first half and at one point led by 9 points. We ended up losing by over 20 points for the 2nd consecutive week. I think it's safe to say that this new bid has not been very kind to us. So hard to gel when everyone's schedules conflicting so much.
On March 8th we were handed our 3rd straight defeat of over 20 points. The good news is we had the best turnout of the season and EVERYONE had fun. Eleven free Starbucks $5 gift cards were given away. An extra special thanks goes out to Brenda Smith and family for rollin' in deep.

The next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 29th @ 6pm. We will be again attempting to win our first game of the season against The Oakland Guys!
